Overall economy is weak. No Governments in the World can change the course of the economy. Economic upcycles and downcycles are like day and night.
Just as nights are inevitable after a full day, in the same way economic downturns always come in after economic upturns. If a Government is smart, it will not waste its bullets when the economic downturn has just started and might want to keep its powder dry after some part of economic slowdown has passed.
The Current Government is not in any position to provide any fiscal stimulus as of now. It may wait for a year or two, before it starts supporting the economy in some form or the other.
